MISSION STATEMENT
The Chamber works for the benefit of the entire community by fostering economic growth through promotion, development, education and problem solving in order to advance general welfare and prosperity of the City of Bessemer. |

The Bessemer Chamber of Commerce is a very busy entity. We focus on promoting all of our businesses in every way we can. We get phone calls or interested people looking for anything our businesses have to offer, and we guide them in their direction. We are working at handing out relocation packets and helping individuals or businesses relocate to our area. We promote social activities and encourage one and all to attend-what better way to bring people and businesses together than by socialization. Nothing travels faster than word of mouth, and when you have large groups together, a lot does get accomplished. I can tell you first hand of someone coming to this area and needed an accountant, they found that accountant at one of our social events. There was another instance when a new person to the area needed a veterinarian, he found one at one of our social events. It is a well known fact that people meet people and find valuable information at our events. We try and participate in community events and try to be a part in as much as we can. We encourage attendance at out monthly meetings, and we welcome any suggestions, volunteers, and help at any chance we can. We recently relocated our Chamber office on the corner or US 2 and Moore Street, right at the stop and go lights. We have many business brochures inside. We have quick access to valuable information via the internet or a quick phone call. Our website has been recently updated, and we have a quick link to other Chamber businesses, as well as their phone numbers, with just a click of the mouse. We are there for you and our businesses, and we will do whatever we can to make your relocation into our town, or you visit to our neighborhood and enjoyable and memorable one.
